Japan's central region of ''Chubu'' is also the center of the woodworking machinery and tools industry in Japan. Chubu Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers Association is a non-profit organization established in 1948 with the aim of promoting the wood processing machinery industry.
The association consists of leading Japanese manufacturers of band sawing machinery, veneer & plywood manufacturing machinery, woodworking machinery, tools and other related products located in four prefectures - Aichi, Gifu, Mie and Shizuoka.
