Dear Mr. Roy,
Albizzia Falcata Becker, Albizzia Falcataria is the Softwood with specific gravity = 0,35 to 0,40 gr/cm3. Very soft to make the furniture or frame. No grains. The yellowish white wood best for make the furniture is Sungkai - botanical name : peronema caroscens Jack -( llight to medium harrdwood ) with spec gravity 0.5 to 0.6. The grain as like teak. The veneer of Sungkai wood morre expensive than Teak veneer for make plywood. No big diameter of trees ( 50 cm max ). Otherwise if You need no graining timber, have the other chance of timber as like : Kelampayan (white grain, light hardwood - big trees 60 cm up )
If You need more information please to contact me on : timbernusa@hotmail.com or fax 62-511-306655
